A new graphite drawing begins. Here, I lay in the line drawing for what I intend to be a realistically shaded portrait.
I bring this drawing to a close, shading out the clothing and putting on finishing touches.
Moving across the face, and into the hair, I cover most of the focal point, the head and face, with shading.
